DMN Cricket was born from a lifelong passion for the game — one that started when I was just five years old. My earliest cricket memory is standing in a park behind our block of flats, gripping a blue plastic bat while my dad bowled gentle throwdowns with a plastic ball. Each shot I played was followed by his words of encouragement — moments that sparked an enduring love for cricket.
I vividly remember watching the 1999 Cricket World Cup on the BBC, captivated by the brilliance of legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Steve Waugh, Shane Warne, and Lance Klusener. That tournament deepened my connection with the game — not just as a player, but as a lifelong fan.
Over the years, I’ve played cricket at multiple age levels, trialled for Leicestershire county, toured internationally, and more recently, ventured into indoor cricket. Cricket has given me incredible memories, life lessons, and a community I cherish. DMN Cricket is my way of giving back.
